Brendan Barrow - a bit about me
I have experience in small private companies and large international, publicly listed companies, in a range of very different industries, across 3 continents. This has given me a wealth of practical experience in businesses that have employed between 4 to over 200 employees.
As a young manager, I championed a continuous improvement and culture change initiative in complex private organisation of 650 employees to improve profitability. I learned how businesses work from bottom to top.
I am a graduate chemist, whose analytical mind continually looks into why things are the way they are and how they could be improved.
My skills on business mechanics are highly tuned.
As a Site Director, I have experienced the satisfaction of a business turnaround based upon innovation and restructuring of a 100+ employee business.
This happened after I understood the true value of innovation following executive development at Cranfield University's School of Business.
This has pushed me to understand why some are incredibly successful.
I know the fundamental principles of successful business apply irrespective of the size or type of business and I have seen it first hand!
Through a combination of studying theory and then trying it in practice, I evolved a philosophy and management method that is highly successful, easy to follow and common sense.I share this approach through Business Expertise.
I comfortably interact with people and rapidly find the key issues and suggest novel solutions.
